“you have been telling people that this is the eleventh hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the hour. And there are things to be considered
Were are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Were is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other
And do not look outside your self for the leader
This could be a good time
There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift, that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say you must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and CELEBRATE!
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally. Least of all ourselves. For the moment we do, our spiritual grown and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are here,

Hello everybody! Olá a todos!

We are a family of five who are here permanently, and are often joined by long term helpers and other family members. Always hopeful to create a sustainable community with similar minded people.
Description of farm- 10ha organic smallholding in a beautiful valley with a small tributary to the Mondego running through it.
Area divided between arable crops, vegetable garden and forest (mostly pine but gradually being replaced by deciduous woods)
Small areas dedicated to permaculture, with plans for a forest garden. Organically farmed using the bio-dynamic calendar we are gradually replenishing the land.
Drinking water is supplied by our blessed fonte; various wells are used for irrigation.
Solar power gives electricity for our main needs. Our wind mill power is about to be put up and we are preparing for a small hydro-electric system.
Hopes for the future- to renovate the water powered stone mills (there are nine mills on the farm)



Nos somos uma família de cinco que vive cá permanentemente, e muitas vezes juntam-se por ajudantes de longo termo e outros membros da família. Sempre com esperança de criar uma comunidade sustentável com pessoas com os mesmos interesses.
Descrição da quinta 10 ha de terreno num lindo vale com um afluente do rio Mondego. A
àrea é dividida entre cultivo de cereais, horta de legumes e floresta (na sua maioira são pinheiros mas gradualmente estão a ser substituídos por outras arvores como carvalhos e sobreiros)
Existem pequenas áreas dedicadas à permacultura, com planos para um jardim-floresta. Biologicamente cultivado usamos o calendário biodinâmico e estamos gradualmente a melhorar o solo.
A àgua para beber é fornecida pela nossa abençoada fonte; vários poços são usados para irrigação. Energia solar da nos electricidade para as nossas necessidades principais.
A nossa ventoinha eólica esta quase a ser montada e estamos a preparar para fazer um pequeno sistema hidroeléctrico.
Esperanças para o futuro- renovar os moinhos de agua ( existem nove moinhos de pedra na quinta)
